Its kinda cold up there now, but The High Line is frickin gorgeous. It was built for use by freight trains back when trains ran at street level.[boring history lesson omitted] You can imagine how much of a bad and dangerous idea that was. No one had used it in a while so they made it into a rad park. Theres a sundeck with lounge chairs you can roll by using the old train tracks. Theres several public art exhibits. And theres a few local vendors who are given temporary permits, selling things like cider and donuts now and People’s Pops in summer. The greenery is kinda funky and so ugly its pretty again. You know what I mean. Its like a post-Apocalyptic walk through a meadow. The bathroom is better than what I expected from a “park”. Only two stalls, and a line, but clean. I gave it 4 flushes just cos it opens a whole 3 hours after the park does. And I just didn’t feel like it deserved a perfect score. I’m getting picky in my old age.

pro tip: sometimes I take the pic while it flushes, to cover the sound of the camera shutter as to not freak the ladies out
