McDonald's. 1499 3rd Ave (btwn 84th & 85th)
This McD’s is like a Forever 21. Everything inside is poison, but you feel super cool. It was just reopened after being closed for remodeling for a few months. I guess it takes a long time to choose the perfect shade of electric blue and radical red. But alas they couldn’t decide on just one neon color and so they went nuts like a toddler with a pack of magic markers. Even the...

Rattle N Hum
Rattle N Hum (14 East 33rd Street between 5th and Madison) This is the best beer bar in NYC, hands down. Ok, Pony Bar comes in at a close second. But Rattle N Hum is my personal favorite. Check out the list if you dont believe me (beer list) Bathroom is all the way to the back of the bar, on the left side. Theres like 3 of them. In all honesty I was too tipsy to remember if they’re unisex...

Brother Jimmy's BBQ
Brother Jimmy’s BBQ (416 8th Ave btwn 30th and 31st Streets) Had lunch here with a bunch of coworkers on a Wednesday afternoon. Jimmy’s BBQ is a chain of restaurants throughout NYC (maybe other places too). There’s one on the UES, near where I live, but I’d never been till I went to the one near Penn Station with some coworkers. The food is pretty basic stuff. We sat...

American Airlines flight 1565 from LGA to MIA
This picture below, with no description, was taken on my flight home to Miami yesterday. It was actually one of the least horrific parts of the flying experience, a sanctuary away from crying babies, chatterbox neighbors, and annoying stewardesses and their electronic device rules. Still though, 1 flush is all u get. And its not even a flush. Its more a slow release of blue liquid stuff.

The Wharf
The Wharf (587 3rd Ave btwn 38th and 39th Streets) When I first moved to NYC, I stayed in Murray Hill with my good friends G&A for a few months. We’ve been here a million times and it never gets old. I remember we even came here the night of my first blizzard. As far as Murray Hill goes, this is the best bang for your buck. They’ve got taco night and $3 pints (Tuesdays?) The...

The Smith
The Smith (55 3rd Ave between 10th and 11th Streets) Went here for dunch (lunch/dinner).  The menu is basic American food. Walk in, take a left, head down the stairs to the bathroom. The restaurant is a nice mix of families and hipsters, which explains why its a unisex bathroom. Seriously nice looking sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, with about 5 stalls. Best part though: the photo booth and...

Astor Center
Astor Center (399 Lafayette Street at E 4th Street) This isn’t a restaurant. Its a venue for classes and private events. I went for a Gourmet Latino event that showcased Latin restaurants and booze. I drank rose infused Pisco Sours, cucumber Caipirinas, Jalapeno infused tequilas and many other awesome things. My date gorged on mini enchiladas, steak over foie gras topped with a quail egg,...

Frying Pan
Frying Pan (W 26th Street and Hudson River Park, Pier 66) This is an outdoor bar & grill on an old boat which is docked at the pier. Its a huge place and it gets really packed with the after work crowd and pre-party crowd on the weekends. Im going to be polite because I like this place alot. The main bathrooms are towards the center of the ship, past the kitchen. The walk down is interesting...

Gael Pub
Gael Pub (1465 3rd Ave btwn 82nd and 83rd) This place has Tuesday night trivia and good fries. The folks here come up with hilarious trivia team names. The bathrooms are unremarkable. Go half way past the bar down the stairs to your right. I gave it 4 flushes cause its quiet, multi stall, and had to pee real bad after holding it for a few rounds. Thanks for trying to wipe up a gallon of...

ESPN Zone
ESPN Zone (1472 Broadway) I dont even want to admit how great this bathroom is. Its big. Its stocked. And they have TVs in every stall. Im ashamed. 5 flushes.

Tiny Thai
Tiny Thai (1558 3rd Ave btw 87th and 88th) Right after Bar89, Tiny Thai provides a most unsettling bathroom experience. Maybe I’m just paranoid, but the frosted glass bathroom door idea is scary. To make matters worse, when the kitchen door opens, a beam of light brightens the entire bathroom, making it seem like someones just opened the door on you. Despite the paranoia, its a pretty...

Dinosaur BBQ
Dinosaur BBQ (646 W 131st Street) This place has the reputation for best BBQ in NYC. I thought it was pretty damn good. And the sides were also noteworthy, but my fellow diners were not as happy. Maybe NYC should stick to the hundred other cuisines its renowned for? On to the bathroom. Unremarkable facilities in general. 3 stalls, 3 stinks. Whats noteworthy was the graffiti. I forgot my...
